New Patients

Your first Visit.

Adult

In most cases your first visit will not include any treatment. It will be an examination and your appointment will take approximately one hour. We will first review your medical and dental histories and discuss any concerns you may have regarding your oral health. An examination will include assessment of the jaws, bite evaluation, oral cancer screen, as well as a detailed evaluation of the teeth and gums. Necessary x-rays will be taken to complete the examination.

We will discuss our findings with you, answer any questions, explain treatment alternatives, and together develop a personal plan for your dental care.

Children


We like to see your little ones quite early. Age 2 is usually a good time for a “fun” visit and an office tour. They will have a chance to meet us and get familiar with our office. We give them a ride in the chair and have a quick look at their teeth. We also take time to discuss important preventive issues with you and set up good dental habits. We will do a complete examination and cleaning when your child is ready, usually at age 3 or older.
